Custom Built Display Cases
Our display cases are all individually made to measure for most types of models including ships, vehicles, dolls, figurines, plus trophies, antiques and collectibles. In fact anything which requires protection from dust or inquisitive little (and not so little…), fingers can benefit from being in one of our cases…
We bond the glass in such a way so that no wooden joinery is required. This gives a nice clean line and does not impair your vision. The display cases have no opening doors which may allow dust inside. The glass sits in a neatly routered groove in the baseboard, keeping dust out but still allowing ready access whenever you need it. Including a mirror back panel is great for an enhanced view if your display case is to be placed against a wall.
Baseboard Options
Our baseboards are solid and allow you to screw your model down if required. This does not apply to mirrored bases, of course. While our MDF bases are most typically painted black, they can be supplied in just primer for those who wish to paint them themselves. Mirrored glass can be used as a complete base, or added to MDF bases.
Ready Made Display Cases
We usually carry a range of ready–made glass cases suitable for many 1:18 and 1:24 scale models. These have a choice of all glass tops, mirror backs, on black painted MDF (Medium Density Fibreboard, often known as Customwood) bases.
