Glass Display Case Information
DISPLAY CASES are individually made to measure for all types of models
including ships, vehicles, dolls, figurines plus trophies, antiques and collectables.
In fact anything which requires protection from dust or inquisitive little (and not so
little) fingers can benefit from being in one of our cases. The display cases can
be made to any width, depth and height to a maximum of 1200mm any one way.
Baseboard Options
TOPS are made from all glass or glass and mirror. Including a mirror back panel
is great for an enhanced view if your display case is to be placed against a wall.
Please note we do not work with acrylics or plastics as these scratch very easily
and may go cloudy after a while.
DELIVERY OPTIONS
Customers are welcome to pick up their case or have it delivered as per the following options:-
Small to medium display cases are delivered by courier. They will be well packed with bubblewrap, polystyrene, and boxed. The packaging and freight will be charged to you at actual cost only.
Larger display cases for within the Auckland area are delivered by us at a reasonable rate.
Larger display cases outside Auckland may be sent via Pack and Send using their specialised fragile freight services.

with a bull-nose routered edge and spray-painted satin black. Although black is the most popular choice, other colours are available on request.
Mahogany Woodgrain Veneer
trimmed with solid mahogany around the outer edges. The woodgrain is then either clear satin lacquered or dark stained and then satin lacquered.

either by itself or added to the top of an MDF baseboard.

GLASS is bonded in a way so that no wooden joinery is required.This gives a
nice clean line and does not impair your vision. The display cases have no
opening doors which may allow dust inside. The glass sits in a routered groove in
the baseboard, keeping dust out but allowing access should you need it.

PAYMENT is required to confirm an order for a made to measure case before
manufacture commences.
For 1:18 and 1:24 cases payment is requested prior to despatch if the display case is to be freighted. You are welcome to pay by internet, cheque, or by cash on pick up. Please note that the standard bank clearance times apply to cheques before goods are sent.
